Rules on the best paper award of the annual meeting of the ANLP

Article 1: The best paper award of the annual meeting of the ANLP (hereinafter referred to as “the award”) is granted to excellent papers presented superbly at the annual meeting. If one of the award winning papers is far more excellent than the others, it may receive the best paper award (first place) of the annual meeting of the ANLP.
Article 2: Selection for the award is based on a separate Selection Committee's proposal to the Board of Directors.
Article 3: The Board of Directors makes the final decision on the award recipient based on the proposal mentioned in Article 2.
Article 4: The winner of the award is recognised at the annual meeting where the authors are presented with the award and additional prizes. In addition, the authors' names, affiliations and title of the paper presented for the award will be published in the ANLP newsletter and on the ANLP website.

Appendix: These rules apply from the 2006 annual meeting.


Rules on the young researcher award of the annual meeting of the ANLP

Article 1: The young researcher award of the annual meeting of the ANLP (hereafter referred to as “the award”) is given to young researchers whose papers are presented at the annual meeting and are recognized as excellent by the ANLP. The eligible candidates must meet the following conditions:
  • Must be under 30 years old as of April 1st of the conference year.
  • Must be the first author of the paper.
  • Must have not previously received the young researcher award of the annual meeting of the ANLP.
  • The first author of a paper receiving the best paper award at the same year cannot receive the young researcher award.
Article 2: Selection for the award is based on a separate Selection Committee's proposal to the Board of Directors.
Article 3: The Board of Directors makes the final decision on the award recipient based on the proposal mentioned in Article 2.
Article 4: The winner of the award is recognised at the annual meeting where they are presented with the award and additional prizes. In addition, the presenter's name, affiliation and title of the paper presented for the award will be published in the ANLP newsletter and on the ANLP website.

Appendix: The updated rules apply since the annual meeting in 2018.
